Terms and Conditions of Sale of Goods and Provision of Services

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all transactions for products and services purchased through the www.ivarjewelry.com Website. By placing your order with us, you are accepting these Terms and Conditions.

Pricing, Payments and Delivery

The prices payable for goods that you order are as set out in our Website. Currency fluctuations and credit card charges may affect the amount billed to your credit card. We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver goods or services within the indicated timeframes. Delivery times and dates are for general guidance only, and we will not be held liable for late delivery caused by circumstances beyond our control. We will keep you updated regarding any delays.

Payments and Currencies

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also take payments via PayPal.

We strongly recommend using a 3D Secure-enabled card. If the purchase is not 3D Secure, we may contact you to verify the card detail

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any transaction if we believe it may be fraudulent

If your bank declines a transaction, we reserve the right to cancel the order without liability.

Payment Card Security

Due to the valuable nature of our pieces, card providers may decline transactions, especially high-value international ones, for your protection. A call to your card provider may resolve the issue. Please contact us if you need items held during this time.

Duties and Taxes

All products are subject to local taxes and the listed price is not inclusive of domestic taxes. If shipped internationally, goods may be subject to import duties and taxes in your jurisdiction. Ivar is not liable for these charges.

Contract for Sale

Your order alone is not a contract. A contract is formed only when:

  • Credit card authorization is confirmed,
  • Stock is verified, and
  • A "confirmation of order" email is sent.

Terms can only be varied by changes made on the website by Ivar.

Receipt of Order

Acceptance of any order is subject to full payment. Any communication of acceptance is also conditional upon full payment. Once your credit card is authorized and stock is verified, you will receive an email receipt confirming your order. Please retain this for your records.

Insurance

All our consignments are insured during transit. This insurance is valid only until delivery is accepted. If goods are returned due to damage, you must insure them, as return shipments are at your own risk.

Delivery Information

Your Ivar jewellery will be delivered via insured, trackable couriers. All international orders are fully insured and sent via secure tracked services. You will receive an email once your item is dispatched.

If you have questions, contact customer service. Please note that Ivar is not liable for local import duties and taxes.

Shipping & Delivery

At the time of order, you must provide the recipient’s full name as per government-issued photo ID. At delivery, the recipient must present one of the following

  • Passport
  • Or country-equivalent government-approved ID

Delivery will be made only after the recipient’s identity is confirmed. The courier will record the ID details

If someone else will receive the item, you must specify this at the time of order. You cannot change recipient details once the order is processed.

You can change the shipping address before the item is shipped by logging in and using the “Change Shipping Address” feature, which becomes inactive once the order status changes to "Shipped".

Shipping is free. The recipient must inspect the package before accepting it. If the package is tampered with, appears empty, or contains incorrect/damaged contents, they must reject it.

Signing the delivery receipt confirms that the product was received as per the order. Ivar is not responsible for refunds or replacements after this confirmation.

Delivery guarantees are subject to courier terms. Any error in name or address can lead to non-delivery.

Defective and Damaged Items

Open the package in front of the delivery person. If damaged, the courier must take a photo and acknowledge the damage with a timestamp. Only then will we accept a return and issue a refund or replacement upon receiving the item back.

Returns must be sent by registered post with acknowledgment. Contact Customer Service for assistance.

Disclaimer

Colors shown on digital devices may differ from the actual jewelry. Size perceptions can vary due to photography or screen differences. These are not valid reasons for return.

Ivar updates the site regularly but does not guarantee it is free of technical errors, incorrect prices, or outdated content. By using the site, you accept responsibility for any costs incurred from using faulty data or requiring repairs. If unsatisfied, you may email your concerns to us.

Customer Responsibility

Check if the sale and delivery of jewelry to your country is legal. Ivar is not responsible for compliance with import laws in your jurisdiction. This website does not constitute an offer in areas where such sales are prohibited.

Legal Governanc

Use of the site and purchase of products is governed by the laws of the UAE. Any disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, it shall not affect the remaining terms.

Your online purchase is protected by a 3D secure checkout. You’ll also receive a valuation certificate via email for insurance, detailing carat weight and value

Certification

Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity. Where applicable, certification may include reports from GIA, Gubelin, or similar reputable gemological labs

Guarantees

Ivar guarantees high-quality craftsmanship but does not cover damage due to wear and tear. Breakage of gemstones is not covered.

Craftsmanship-related issues (e.g., prong or clasp breakage) are covered, as long as they’re not caused by regular use. The customer must bear the cost of shipping and insurance for such repairs.

Gemstones

We do not accept responsibility for broken gemstones. However, a certificate of authenticity is provided, and third-party gemological certification is available where applicable.

Sourcing of Materials

All raw materials, including metals and gemstones, are ethically sourced. Products are made using sustainable, socially and environmentally responsible practices.

Terms of Use
